Dan Delity Senior Vice President
Serving as a principal proponent of EbixExchange’s growth, Dan Delity has played a critical role in the many initiatives that have enabled the company to emerge as the leading commercial provider of insurance transaction processing, workflow management, and straight through processing (STP).
The outlook Dan has set for EbixExchange focuses on maximizing service quality and development capacity for existing customers while simultaneously driving revenue growth across new product lines and capabilities, such as life insurance processing. Under his guidance, EbixExchange continues to modernize transaction processing and compliance workflow management for the annuity and life insurance industries. EbixExchange’s unique, unrivaled SaaS technology capabilities are the primary tools enabling this transformation.
When Dan Delity joined Finetre in 2001 (which was acquired by Ebix in 2006 and subsequently merged in 2007 with EbixLife to form EbixExchange) he’d already amassed over twenty year’s experience in the financial services and technology sectors. At EbixExchange, Dan is responsible for overseeing all sales efforts with annuity and life manufacturers. The most integral part of Dan’s job is interfacing with each client and determining how EbixExchange’s current, developing, and future products best meet the client’s need to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and raise sales. Dan also serves an integral role in EbixExchange’s future product development.
Dan has served as the principal architect and advocate for EbixExchange's entry into the life insurance processing space. Beginning late 2005, Dan was a key facilitator in coordinating industry consensus for development begun by Finetre of a life insurance platform, LifeSpeed – thus helping Finetre realize its strategic goal of expansion of its transaction-based technology into new markets beyond annuities.
Prior to joining Finetre, Dan was president and CEO of InsureRate, Inc. He was also a director at HomeCom Communications, Inc., a NASDAQ listed firm. Both of these companies were suppliers of internet-based transaction and information technology to banks, annuity manufacturers, mutual fund, mortgage and life insurance companies. In 1988, Mr. Delity founded First Institutional Marketing, Inc. (FIMI), one of the largest third-party marketers of annuity and life insurance products to the banking industry in the United States. While at FIMI, Dan helped more than 100 banks market and sell annuity and life insurance products to their customers, and he also formed insurance agencies for several leading regional banks. He holds his Group I Annuity & Life Insurance license and Series 7 Securities license. Before entering the financial services industry, Dan was a History teacher in Upstate New York.
