A proven consensus-builder and a dynamic industry catalyst, Valerie Moeller brings to Finetre over 25 year’s experience in the insurance and financial services industry.
Val has served on numerous high-profile industry committees dedicated to the advancement of standards, quality, and education for both consumers and producers of annuities. Her current industry group participation includes chair or member positions in ACORD, NAVA, and DTCC committees, groups, and task forces. Val currently serves as the chair for the ACORD Annuity Product group which focuses on driving development, acceptance, and implementation of standards, as well as building momentum for future standards as they are developed and approved. Additionally, Valerie’s former positions include Business Architect, Manager B2B Program, and Senior Business System Analyst for AEGON, Senior Business Analyst for Computer Sciences Corporation, and Business Analyst for GTE Data Services.
Shortly after joining Finetre, Val became instrumental in the formation of WAG – Finetre’s Wizard Advisory Group – comprised of carrier and distributor client partners. Thanks to Val’s oversight, WAG has proved to be a constructive forum for advancing functionality for the annuity order-entry industry. As Vice President, Product Development at Finetre, Val is responsible for enhancements to core technology, the establishment of company policies and standards, and investigation of new strategic opportunities for Finetre.
