The following positions are currently available at EbixExchange:

  • Software Engineer / Development / IT: positions available for both mid-level and senior-level software engineers. We seek professionals with strong self-initiated backgrounds in programming who exhibit ability and desire to quickly learn new concepts and technologies. Successful candidates can expect to participate in a full software development lifecycle – from business requirements gathering to final production code release, with visibility into a variety of mature, CMMI-based processes, including Technical Project Management, Solution Documentation, Software Development, QA, and Configuration Management. Qualifications, experience, references will be used to determine position availability. REQUIRED: Practical experience with Visual Studio 6; COM+; XML/XSLT; .NET 1.1 (experience with .NET 2.0 is also a plus). DESIRED: a minimum 3+ years experience with Microsoft’s web-based applications and technologies (Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL); knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript; desire to learn about financial services/products, especially annuities and life insurance.


  • Project Manager / Client Integration Services: Enthusiastic, self-starter sought to manage new and existing client system implementations and grow strategic relationships. The project manager will drive customer functionality and support requirements through design, testing, and production deployment; provide technical assistance; ensure service excellence throughout all phases of the product life cycle. REQUIRED: bachelor's degree and experience with MS Office; ability to work in a fast-paced organization; excellent communication skills. DESIRED: financial services experience; project or client management experience; working knowledge of XML and software development.


  • QA Engineer / Quality Assurance: Full-time programmer/QA engineer needed. Responsibilities include: Analysis Functional Specification, User Stories & Design Documents in designing & developing document templates; automate functional & regression to capture business flows & generate test cases; communicate and coordinate with internal and client teams. REQUIRED: master’s degree in Computer Sciences; knowledge of Mercury WinRunner, Mercury Test Director, OpenWiki, XML & XSLT, Visual Intercept, Microsoft SQL Server, SubVersion or other CM tools, Microsoft Visual Source Safe. DESIRED: knowledge of any of the following: Data warehousing; Annuity, Mutual Funds and/or Life Insurance; experience in Agile, RUP, RAD environments.


  • Director, New Business Development / Sales: Technology platform sales to the financial services industry. Consultative sales skills with solid professional rapport and ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives. Contribute to sales strategy and tactical campaigns. Write/develop proposals. Frequent travel to prospect sites includes several industry exhibits annually. Polished negotiation skills and familiarity with review/adjustment of complex agreements. REQUIRED: financial services industry experience, preferably in broker/dealer environment (carrier experience a plus); polished writing and verbal communications skills; MS Office proficiency. DESIRED: understanding of software development and ASP technology environment.
